New Gas Cylinders

High-Pressure Gas Cylinders

Customers can avail of us a robust range of High-Pressure Gas Cylinders that are used in the gas industry for the storage and transportation of high-pressure gases. Considering the excessive and rigorous use of these cylinders in diverse fields like steel plants, we take great care of the quality of our products.

We make sure that these cylinders are in compliance with stringent regulations, both national and international. The cylinders manufactured for the domestic market are produced as per IS – 7285, certified by the Bureau of Indian Standards (ISI), and are approved by the chief Controller of  Explosives, Govt. of India.

We make use of seamless steel tubes on the most modern CNC Machines and the latest technology to make these High-Pressure Gas cylinders. Precisely designed, our range of products suits different industrial applications. These cylinders come in a wide range of water capacities i.e from 1 to 280 liters. Our range of cylinders is approved by many countries over the world for their flexibility to match any kind of specifications.

Low-Pressure Gas Cylinders

We offer a wide range of Low-Pressure Gas Cylinders that are produced by a unique combination of highly efficient manufacturing techniques, ultra-modern machines & equipment, and a rigid quality control process. This process includes the combination of submerged Arc and metal inert gas welding.

The welding is done using a gas mixture of Argon and Carbon dioxide to produce the best quality welded cylinders. These cylinders are then passed through the different stages of testing and X-Ray examination (Radiography) so as to meet the requirements of respective standards. This sequence of tests after stress relieving gives consistency of quality.

Features

‣ Chemical stability      ‣ Manufacturing process of low-pressure welded cylinders as per IS – 3196 ‣ No effect against mechanical impact by virtue of high crushing strength of mass‣ Maintains the porosity of mass between 90-92%
‣ The high degree of permeability and ability to the retention of Acetone during the discharge of gas. ‣ This porous mass has the ability to absorb the heat of the solution.‣ It also resists the decomposition of acetylene gas under the effect of pressure

Types of Valves

The working part/ internal design/spindle/gland side designs are not specified in the ISI Standards except for a wrenching portion of the spindle.

The internal design of the Cylinder Valves is classified into the following categories.

‣ Soft Non-Metallic Spindle Seat or Metallic/Non-metallic body seat Type Design

With this type of seating arrangement the valve gets opens and closes at low torque, so these valves can be provided with a hand wheel. Non-metallic seating should not be used where there are corrosive/poisonous gases.

These types of valves are used with CNG cylinders and Carbon Dioxide.

‣  Diaphragm Type Design

This is specially designed for packing less nature attained by a metal diaphragm. In the diaphragm, a seal is eaffected by the diaphragm being kept in place with body and gland side arrangement. When the valve is rotated from the open to close position the stem deflects the diaphragm, which opens or close the valve body seat. The curvature of the diaphragm enhances proportionately, which controls the flow of the gas. Such type of design is extensively used in Marine D/A Cylinder that is used for Marine Lightening purpose. It is also used in different types of Refrigerant Valves and other special type of valves.

Regulators

Single stage Regulator

Single Stage Regulator

The Single stage Regulator reduces the high inlet pressure in one stage to low outlet pressure. Single stage Regulators are recommended where, inlet and outlet pressure variability is acceptable.

Double stage Regulator

RegulatorThe Double stage Regulator reduces the high Inlet-supply pressure to low outlet or working pressure in two steps resulting in a more constant outlet-delivery pressure.

Double stage Regulators are preferred, where there is potential for large inlet pressure variation.

The Regulators are especially useful for unattended operation, where the application demands a precise delivery pressure for gas service.
